A Local Mission You Can Trust

First Fruit Ministries provides supportive housing for over 30 homeless women and families each year.

First Fruit Ministries engages men and women caught in addiction, gangs, and the commercial sex industry all over Wilmington, showing love and building relationships.

Helping women to have permanent housing supported by stable employment; to connect them as members of the Wilmington community.

Become A Mentor

Brothers and Sisters of Hope are mentorship programs designed to bring friendship, love, encouragement and hope to men and women experiencing homelessness.

Become An Urban Missionary

Urban Missionaries are Christian believers who join FFM’s outreach and residential teams, care for others through faith and service, and mature through effectively ministering to those who are homeless or experiencing brokenness. Our Food Pantry provides fresh food boxes to our community twice per week.

Street Outreach & Day Shelter

Outreach teams bring hot meals and emergency medical care to people living on the streets. Our day shelter offers free showers, laundromat services, a barber, primary medical care, hot meals, clothing and supplies, and full housing navigation services for those who are homeless or victims of trafficking.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry provides fresh food boxes to our community twice per week. Food boxes are customizable to meet each individual’s preferences and dietary needs.

Supportive Housing

Our goal is to provide restoration to men, women, and families leaving the streets or trafficking, so that they can gain employment, repair relationships, recover from trauma, and become self-sufficient.

First Fruit focuses on supportive housing for women and families and street outreaches including street feeding programs, food pantry service, outreach to home-bound widows, and a day shelter which provides medical care, emergency services, and housing referrals.
